When Joey Gardner convinced Tommy Boy records to release Running on their label, he also was able to make this re-mix of it, to adapt it to the style of the clubs in which it was becoming popular. There was no way we could have known what that sound was, as we had no idea it was ever going to be played in clubs on the east coast at all. Joey's remix made it more powerful sounding, and viable in the club circuit.
