This is the first ballad I wrote for InSoc. Not so much because I wanted to so much, but because I thought I had to. It didn't make much of a stir here, but was released as a fairly successful radio single in Brasil.

    I remember I thought I was so clever when I figured out how to have the echoes of the bell synth sounds die away while changing notes: MIDI velocity sensitivity! Of course, I didn't actually play the keys with my hands, trying to play softer and softer. Ugh. I did it the right way: I went into the sequencer and set the velocity value for each note to a successively lower value.
